What do we mean by "FAmily Support"?

The main aim of Fanconi Anaemia FAmily Support is to support FA-affected individuals and FAmilies by providing information and advice (signposting other appropriate organisations), and to encourage interaction between affected people (mutual support & sharing of experiences / information).
Fanconi Anaemia (FA) is a relatively rare condition.  FAmilies with children affected by this condition often feel very isolated.  It is very easy to feel that you are alone.  One of the most important things for for FAmilies in this position is to know that they are not alone; that there are other FAmilies, other children out there.

The main reason for setting up this new Charity is to support affected FAmilies.  We are hoping to establish a network for FAmilies to obtain and share information and experiences.
